**EVENT FULL** "Screenagers: Elementary Edition" is a film that addresses the issues elementary school kids, parents, and educators are facing with today's addictive tech. Expert panel with Q&A will follow the 1 hour film. Kids ages 9+ are welcome to attend this FREE event. Childcare not provided.

About the event
**EVENT FULL** Well Wired, a healthy tech advocacy group & family community in Central Oregon, and the East Bend Library will be co-hosting a screening of the film Screenagers: Elementary School Age Edition (preview here) with an expert panel discussion to follow. The film addresses issues that elementary school kids, parents and educators are facing (i.e., smartwatches in class, unhooking from and monitoring video gaming, social media pressures, exposure too young and what research shows is a healthy amount of screen time), with many solutions to these and other challenges. Following the film, an expert panel of local mental health care providers & safe screen time advocates will facilitate discussion and answer audience questions.
